Twelvetide Drabbles 2018!

Back for year four! Twelvetide Drabbles is a fourteen-day drabble challenge to keep our spirits up and raise money for a social justice cause during the holiday season. Fanfic and fanart in all fandoms will be welcome.

Collection will open for posting submissions at 9:00am EST (UTC -5) on Monday, 24 December 2018.

Details about the drabble match fund, social media, this year’s prompts, and further guidelines see the Introduction and Rules. Participation at any level is encouraged. Thank you for joining us, and I hope you have fun!

Drabble Match Fund: As we did in year three we will be running this challenge as a fundraiser with a drabble match fund. This year’s funds will be donated to the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society (HIAS). So far we have a total pledge of $1/drabble or artwork posted to the collection. If you are interested in contributing to the drabble match fund please email the collection moderator at feministlibrarian@gmail.com.

$154 Raised for Hurricane Recovery!

The 2017 Twelvetide Drabble challenge has officially closed for the year. We had ten writers contribute seventy-seven drabbles over the course of the two week challenge, writing fic in twenty-three fandoms. 

In addition to ElizaJane’s $1/drabble match a second donor – Smackofthejellyfish – came forward with a $1/drabble match DOUBLING our fundraising from $77.00 to $154.00! These two donors will be sending the money raised to Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands hurricane relief funds.

We are super happy that this fundraising challenge worked and look forward to offering it again next holiday season! Look for details here in November/December 2018.

Our final day of the Twelvetide Drabbles challenge is here; all works posted between now and 23:59 EST (UTC -5) on Saturday, January 6th will count toward the match fund for Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands recovery. Remember to post your fics and artworks to the AO3 collection!
